Meet Benji

Benji grew up in a small town a few hours south of Mexico City. At the age of 19, he started working in various restaurants in Mexico City, first washing dishes and working his way up the ladder, finally becoming the manager. At the same time, he was attending college, eventually earning an accounting degree and CPA certification.

When Benji came to the United States, he worked 16 years in local restaurants, ultimately opening his own restaurant/grocery store in Pinebluff, NC. Ten years later, he saw an opportunity to move to a larger restaurant on Highway 5, Aberdeen, NC and has been there since 2018

Benji is married to his love, Beigy and has 4 children. Cooking is Benji’s passion. He enjoys making his own recipes and offers both authentic Mexican food and Tex-Mex.
